LONG BEACH FIREMEN’S
MUTUAL BENEFIT ASSOCIATION

SINCE 1929, THE MUTUAL BENEFIT ASSOCIATION (MBA) COLLECTS, MANAGES AND DISTRIBUTES MONEY AND BENEFITS TO HELP EACH OTHER IN TIMES OF NEED. TOGETHER WE GROW STRONGER FOR THE FUTURE.

Each issue, the MBA will plan to highlight a Fund or Benefit that we provide to the membership. Below is a recap for the Station Fund:

STATION FUND

Monies are allocated to each station monthly. These funds continue to accrue for each station and are independently accounted for. The Station Fund is designed to be used for items that will benefit all members/shifts at the station, such as (but not limited to): TV’s, Gym equipment, Kitchen/Cooking Equipment, streaming devices and other items the city does not provide or contribute to (such as Treadmills, etc.)

Email Secretary/Treasurer Jack Crabtree and cc station captains with desired items to purchase and balance inquiries. Upon confirmation and agreement, email or inner office receipts and a check will be issued to whomever purchased the items.
